Move Up Program: Selling Your House & Buying Another

You Have a Property in the Austin Area that You Intend to Sell Before or After you Purchase a New One.

When you allow me the opportunity to represent you in the purchase of a new construction or resale home, I will credit a portion of the listing-side commission on the sale of your Move Up Programexisting home.  Rather than paying your listing agent a full 3% commission, I will sell your home for half the cost.  That’s a 50% savings to you!

On a $150,000 home sale that is a $2250 Credit
On a $200,000 home sale that is a $3000 Credit
On a $300,000 home sale that is a $4500 Credit

Can You See the Benefit?

Traditionally, a home seller is responsible for paying a sales commission to both the listing agent and the buyer’s agent involved in a real estate transaction.  In a hypothetical scenario, the total commission on the sale of a home would be 6%, split between the cooperating agents and their brokerages.  The same would hold true when you allow me to act as your representative in the purchase of a new home.  My portion of the commission would already factored into the contract and paid at closing by the seller – not you.

As your Realtor, I will be fully compensated on the purchase of your new home.  Therefore I will rebate a portion of the sales commission (from your home sale) in appreciation for the opportunity to help you throughout the process of both transactions.  That way less of your money goes to Realtor commissions and more money goes into your new home or back into your wallet.

What if I Plan to Build a House or Buy New Construction?

Does this scenario apply if you are building your own home from scratch or purchasing an already built new construction home?  Absolutely!  This situation applies regardless of whether you are purchasing a resale home, an existing new construction home or building from scratch.
